Flying High - One of the Gold Coast’s best kept secrets has been flying around under the Q1 building at Surfers Paradise since April, and it’s a dream come true for anyone who has ever wanted to fly a commercial jet airliner. Flight Experience Q1 is a flight simulator based on the Boeing 737-800 and guests can pilot it to any airport around the world. They enjoy a full flight as ""Captain on duty"" under the watchful eye of skilled flight instructors doing everything from listening to pre-flight briefing, taking off, ‘flying’ to the destination, landing and taxiing to the gate. All instructors have real flying experience and understand how an airline operates. In the cool dark environment of the Natural Arch Cave, millions of glow worms make their home. These tiny creatures invisible to the eye during daylight create a spectacular display at night. An experienced guide will take you on a short walk through the sub-tropical rainforests of Springbrook Plateau into the Natural Arch. There is also the opportunity for some star gazing in the unpolluted night sky. See the city high-rise lights of the Gold Coast City. Possibly see some of Australia’s unique wildlife, approximately 80% of Australia’s wildlife are only active at night and see glow worms in their natural environment in a World Heritage National Park.

Lady Elliot is a true coral cay island located at the southern tip of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
